Welcome to the Fall 2010 In-Town Soccer Program

We are excited about the new season and we hope you will choose to participate.  Here are some particulars about the Lewisboro Soccer Club In-Town program this Fall.  [Note:  If you are registering for the adult league, please create a new "Child" in your family account and then list "Post HS" as the age, it will then provide the ability to register].  Details about our Co-ed Adult soccer program are also included below:

• All new players (or players moving up a division) will receive a team shirt.  We have no set uniform for shorts or socks, however, shinguards are required and we strongly recommend cleats.
• Costs are $100 for K-8th grade divisions.
• Pre-K costs are $75 and include a Sunday morning hour session at Increase Miller Elementary School, with our professional training partners, NOGA.  Further, the session will take place from 10-11.  In order to participate in the pre-K program, your child must be eligible for Kindergarten for the 2011-2012 academic year.
• The Fall Season will begin on Sunday, September 19th, and will run for 8 weeks through November 14th (no games/practices scheduled for Columbus Day Weekend).
• K and 1st grade divisions will have sessions on Saturday afternoons, with a 1/2 hour practice followed by a game.  As Yom Kippur falls on Saturday, September 18th, K and 1st grade will have their first practices/games scheduled for Saturday, September 25th. 
• 2^nd through 8^th grade divisions will have a 1 hour Saturday morning practice with games scheduled for Sunday afternoons.  As Yom Kippur falls on Saturday, September 18th, there will be no practices scheduled and the first games will commence on Sunday, September 19th.
• All K-8th grade participants can attend an optional (but excellent and encouraged) weekday NOGA clinic at Onatru Park .   These sessions are included in your registration fee…there is no additional fee required for attendance.  For the weekly NOGA schedule click Schedule/Results.
• The regular registration period will continue through August 24^th, after which a $25 late registration fee will be assessed.  Please register early.  It helps us build teams and create the schedule more efficiently.  
• We apologize, but we can no longer accept checks for registration due to a rise in delinquent accounts.  If for some reason you can not pay by credit card, please reach out to the new In-Town Registrar, Lorna Graham, at intownregistrar@lewisborosoccerclub.org to handle payment arrangements and registration.

Adult Co-ed Soccer!!
Coming off of a fantastic 2010 Spring program, we’re excited to again offer Adult Co-ed Soccer.  Please join us in this fun, recreational, in-town soccer program. 

Please see the details below:

• Open to men and women over 30 years of age.  Previous soccer experience is not required.  Just come have some fun and get some exercise.
• The cost is $45 if you sign up before August 21^st and $60 until August 24^th.   Late registration begins on August 25^th so please sign up early!
• Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday evenings, running for 8 weeks.
• The games will be scheduled after in-town games are finished, with game times starting at or about 5pm.
• 50 minute games with referee.
• We can do damage to the fields by playing on soft turf, so games will be cancelled if the fields are wet.
• 11 v 11 set-up is planned

As you can see, we are in need of a number of volunteers to fill the Age Group Coordinator Roles.   The LSC cannot operate without volunteers like you so if you have any interest in volunteering in this capacity, please contact the In-town Coordinators, Virginia DiGuglielmo and Jay Horowitz at intown@lewisborosoccerclub.org, and LSC President, Doug Housman at president@lewisborosoccerclub.org to learn about becoming an Age Group Coordinator.
