NOGA CT Summer Select™ is delighted to announce its 2nd branch to open this summer based out of St Lukes High School in New Canaan.
NOGA CT Summer Select™ starts when most players’ regular premier/travel club ends in the summer. We do not conflict with players’ regular teams/clubs. CT Summer Select™ players join their CT Summer Select™ teams when their original teams end their season. This offers a chance for players to develop all summer long in a team environment. Upon completion or when their regular teams begin fall practices, CT Summer Select™ players return to their original teams a better player.
Due to our extended roster players do not need to worry about missing practices/tournaments for vacation or taking a few weeks off, in fact most players take time off during the summer which is all in our calculations. Furthermore, we stagger age groups so that if a player has a conflict he/she can join the next age group up or down.
There are different levels of participation. If players are not at the standard to play in a tournament, they can still practice all summer long and develop their skills in a high level environment by choosing our Practice Player only option.
NOGA CT Summer Select™ is the original summer team program, and in only our second year we grew from 6 teams to 13 based out of the University of Bridgeport home base. The success of the program is a direct reflection of the program’s structure and our coaching staff not to mention some of the best facilities the state has to offer. We are delighted to bring NOGA CT Summer Select™ to St Luke’s making us much more feasible option for kids in the southern part of the state. The first set of tryouts for these teams will be held in March with more to follow but with the great relationships we have with surrounding towns such as Stamford, Darien, New Canaan and Lewisboro, roster spots on our south branch will in no doubt be in high demand. NOGA CT Summer Select™ 2012 season runs from the week of June 21st and end the week of August 16th. Practices will be held every Monday/Wednesday from 3:30 to 5pm
We will sponsor teams in the following age groups; U9/U10 Boys and Girls; U11/U12 Boys and Girls; U13/U14 Boys and Girls and HS Boys and Girls. If the demand is sufficient, we will create teams for every age group as we do at home base at the University of Bridgeport. Depending on the number of age groups we may also offer a Tuesday/Thursday sessions.
As a new addition to the current program we are now proud to announce our Pre Academy program which is available for younger players (5-7 years of age) who can come and practice throughout the summer and develop their skills further in a fun and enjoyable environment.
